Martin Margiela, the reclusive and secretive Belgian has been “invited” by the Chambre Syndicale to the official couture convocation in July. A spokesperson for Martin Margiela said the house would exhibit his much acclaimed artisanal collection of handmade pieces in a still-life presentation. Margiela showed his artisanal clothes off-calendar during January’s couture. The house is also currently preparing for a retrospective in Hong Kong opening June 7th at the building which will house its new boutique in the city..
