Kitmeout is an online fashion auction (please refer to our Terms & Conditions for clarification) providing an internet based environment for Registered Users to list items for sale, bid on listed items or purchase items through a "BUY NOW" option from other Registered Users.
Kitmeout Registered Users are protected by the Kitmeout Privacy Policy. All Kitmeout Users are obliged to read the Kitmeout Privacy Policy and User Agreement (as set forth in the Terms & Conditions) and to comply with legal requirements and restrictions established within the aforesaid and their own jurisdiction.

Collecting Information.
We collect information from our Users to enable participation within the aforesaid.
Registering with Kitmeout gives you access to Kitmeout’s online fashion auction (refer to our Terms & Conditions). The information required to Register is your full name, full postal address, telephone number, email address, date of birth, username and password. During the Registration process you may choose to opt-in to receive our newsletter. We occasionally send emails to notify you of important changes to Kitmeout. If you choose to opt-in you may opt-out anytime by accessing your Members' Area.
All User information must be updated to ensure the information is accurate at all times. All User information is stored in a secure environment.
Information Use
Log Files
Kitmeout uses log files. Data includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track users movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.
Communications
We send all new Users a welcome email to verify Username and Password. Registered Users will occasionally receive information regarding products, services, special events, via an opt-in newsletter.
On rare occasions it is necessary to send a strictly service related announcement. For instance, if our service is temporarily offline for maintenance.
Sharing Information
Kitmeout WILL disclose User information to third parties when legally obliged.
In the event Kitmeout is party to a business transition, such as a merger or takeover, Registered Users’ information will be transferred. Kitmeout will post a prominent notice on the web site for 30 days prior to a change of ownership.

Address Verification
We use a number of verification checks (electoral register, postal checks etc.) to verify Users’ identity to reduce the risk of fraudulent behaviour. All new Users will at some point be verified by our address check and if a User is found to be using false information their account will be terminated and information forwarded to the appropriate law enforcement agency.
Telephone Checks
Kitmeout undertakes random telephone number verification checks, this helps to reduce false information. Telephone conversations may be recorded for training purposes and to improve the quality of the checks.
Updating and Deleting Personal Information
Kitmeout Users may update or delete their information at any time by accessing their Member’s Area.
Privacy Policy Modification and Updating
Kitmeout may amend or update from time to time all or any part of this Privacy Policy, whether or not required by a change in the applicable laws and regulation.
