i can tell you the last commercial made by brad pitt for edwin was back in 1999. he has made no commercials after this date for them.

Sorry, this is completely incorrect info - Edwin Jeans still use Brad Pitt as their face in Japan, and the commercials with him continue even in 2006. Three series of commercials featuring Pitt have been aired in Japan since 2000 - directed by, in order, Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, Guy Ritchie and Stephen Klein.

Hard to find those jeans in the States though.

Tried to buy it around 2005 in the shop, were I bought it longer ago
in Germany. The salesmen told me the company went bankrupt.

Edwin jeans are some of the best denim around at the moment. Edwin jeans dont need brad pitt or even angelina jolie.

I remeber the old Edwin commercials with Brad Pitt before he was really really famous. They were funny because he mispronounces a lot of words. Edwin jeans are the best and original Japanese denim!
