easy way to spot a fake red monkey jean. a lot of the fakes have a red tab on the back. no official rmc will have the red tab on the back because it infringes Levi’s Trademark and no jean brand will ever use it if the product is for sale outside japan.

Taka says that no authentic red monkey jeans have the red tab on it. I see some red monkey jeans for sale on this site and some of them do have the red tab on the back.

Genuine Red Monkeys do have red tags with white Kanji on them, positioned centre back of the jean, check however that both the inside and outside of the tag is red, if the inside is white then it’s fake!
