Rogan Clothes at Target

Tuesday, December 2nd, 2008

‘Rogan Clothes at TargetThe mass retailer on April 19 will launch Loomstate for Target, a version of the environmentally conscious Loomstate label designed by Rogan Gregory. The release for the collection for men and women is meant to coincide with Earth Day on April 22. Prices will range from $14.99 to $44.99.

A New York City-based designer, Gregory has successfully brought a powerful environmentally conscious voice to fashion design. Gregory established his own eponymous Rogan collection of men’s and women’s fashion in 2001. The collection embodies the designer’s cool, avant-garde street style and allows Gregory to channel his fascination with eco-friendly fabric. Gregory went on to create two more socially conscious collections, Loomstate, made entirely from organic cotton, and EDUN, a collection launched to foster sustainable employment in developing areas of the world, particularly Africa. In November 2007, Gregory won the prestigious CDFA/Vogue Fashion Fund award.

“Rogan Gregory is a talented design partner who will introduce a completely new element of fashion design to our guest,” said Trish Adams, senior vice president, Target. “His expertise at fusing organic material with skillful design will show women everywhere how easy it is to be environmentally conscientious while remaining stylish.”
