Adriano Goldschmied was one of the founders of the Europe-based Genius Group, which spawned 14 lines, including Goldie, Rivet, Retour, Katherine Hamnet, Replay and Diesel. Formed in mid 2001, AG Jeans was founded by the "Guru of Diesel" and the AG label has gone from strength to strength.

The AG Adriano Goldschmied brand, founded in 2000, is dedicated to continued development of the brand with the utmost attention to detail and quality, and a commitment to the made in the USA label. AG is truly a fully vertical operation; from start to finish, everything is processed under one roof, allowing us a consistency from jean to jean, untouchable by other companies. Our unfaltering attention to detail and excellence allows the brand to develop details exclusive to all AG jeans such as a separate pattern for the left and right back pockets, something no other jean company does.


The AG Adriano Goldschmied M/W Spring 2006 collection, ‘Africa,’ continues in the tradition of past AG seasons by maintaining our classic, clean style and adding classic avant-garde. The difference in AG from five years ago to present day does not seem like much in years, but it is huge when looked at from the sophistication and growth of our customer. The customer has grown in taste and appreciation, and AG has proven to maintain our relationship with the customer while infusing the product with all modern embellishments. This has been achieved through our washes that are authentic, identifiable and vintage in character. These combinations make the standing product recognizable, but jump out of your skin exciting.


Much growth is anticipated for the AG brand, beginning with our launch of AG Europe in the coming months. The brand will also be doing its first AG runway show this season in both New York and Los Angeles, and we are opening more AG retail stores throughout the U.S. in key locations such as New York, Chicago, and Boston beginning soon.
