Somi Han, the creative force behind Arrogant Cat, launched her brand in 1998 following her training at Central St Martin’s School of Art. Her fledgling label was started on a budget of just £100, and was first introduced to the public from tiny stalls at London's renowned Spitalfields and Portobello markets. It was an instant trading success. At the start of 2001, Somi joined forces with Edmund Chan, an MBA graduate with an extensive experience in the industry. They were soon able to open the first showroom in Great Portland Street followed by 6 further retail outlets. In 2005 we launched our e-shop on www.arrogantcat.com. Our distinctive styling offers an escape from trend-dependent purchasing. It is for this individual look that our creative and highly stylish clients, including many celebrities, are so dedicated to our brand.

Arrogant Cat is not just our name, It is our philosophy. An Arrogant Cat is one who is not afraid to be audacious in her experimentation with new styles.The collection sees a mix of street chic and divine femininity, which appeals to those from age 16 through to 40. Pride is taken in being able to create trends away from the mainstream; which has created a cult following.The Boutique emphasis is paramount within both the collection and the stores, which encourages the customer to adopt a more eclectic approach to styling. The new pieces being added to the range on a weekly basis ensure that it remains innovative.This enhances brand awareness and loyalty as we enjoy a niche in the upper-end of the market.
