In 1905 Christian Dior was born in the town of Grenville on the French coast and when he was 5 years old, his family moved to Paris. In 1938 Robert Piguet opened a fashion house, and Dior took his first job, when he joined him as a designer. In 1947 Dior presented his first solo collection. Today Dior dresses the world's most elegant women.
