This phenomenon stirred up the attention of the organizers of the New York 1997 Spring/Summer Fashion Week, and they requested Custo Barcelona to take part in it. Each season they keep on showing their fashion collections there. Their first show set out a great impact, as the prevailing minimalism had dyed the catwalk grey. The overflowing coloring of Custo Barcelona clothes, the daring mixture of fabrics and the intensity of its graphics caught the attention of the most influential domestic media. Their continuous appearances in press and television shot up the sales in United States, raising the interest of the European markets and hereinafter of the rest of the world, where the commercial success that uphold Custo Barcelona in United States, repeats. The firm has not stop thinking about new challenges.
