FCUK Jackets Section:

Stephen Marks, founder of French Connection was born in Britain in 1947. He married twice, first with designer Nicole Farhi, and in 1989, he married Alisa Green, who was fashion editor of Elle. Marks' first love was tennis and he won at Junior Wimbledon. He then went to work for a coat manufacturer.

In 1969, Stephen started up his own company for womenswear and gave it the name "French Connection" in 1972. Marks added menswear in 1976 and childrenswear in 1986.
