Kangol Cap Section:

KANGOL was born in Cleator, Cumbria, in 1938. Kangol's founder, Jakob Henryk Spreiregen, was born in Russia in 1893. Today the kangol hat is worn worldwide.

Kangol is unique. Born British '38 and raised on the streets of New York '83. 38:83 underpins who we are, where we came from and what we stand for. Kangol today is a cultural fusion, taking the best of British heritage, retro hip hop and mixing it with future fashion. The secret's in the mix. With over 65 years of experience of hat design and production, Kangol is now sold across 6 continents of the world.

COLLECTION
Africa’s culture fused with a sense of modernity is one of the key inspirations for the seasonal collection as well as nature and traditional homemaking techniques which see the introduction of organically grown materials and an environmental focus for Kangol.

HIGHLIGHTS
Introducing KNGL. For the first time the iconic styles and fabrics, that have made Kangol the label that it is today, are celebrated through the introduction of their very own line. The living legends that are the ‘504’, the ‘Casual’ and the ‘Spacecap’ are designed in classic fabric choices of Tropic and Bermuda. KNGL celebrates the heritage and the foundation of the labels design. Crochet: The sudden rebound of this traditional folk craft into the world of high fashion is being described by those in the know as a “Ricrochet”. Using a special hooked needle, hence the name, from the middle French word croc or croche meaning hook, crochet is a knotting technique as opposed to a knitting technique, which is interesting…Knot!
