Lindeberg Golf Shirt Section:

In 1995 Johan Lindeberg decided to quit designing for Diesel in order to create his own brand.

Johan Lindeberg shaped a work environment in which his vision for the brand would be realised to its best ability - marrying keen business minds with talented creatives for unprecedented results. Johan says: “I love to draw great talents together. The whole idea of JL is to create an environment, where people can use their full potential. I have a lot of people surrounding me who have at an earlier stage in their career just used 30-40% of their creativity. If I can create a natural environment where the JL people can be themselves and use at least 85-90 % of their own talent - it gets incredibly strong.”

Lindeberg describes his business metaphorically in musical terms. “It’s the people of JL that really make the brand. We are like a rock band. Even if I am the lead singer, we have fantastic musicians. I produce and conduct the tunes but we still need a guitarist and a drummer, and once you find the right rhythm it all takes off from there!” Johan continues:” In the beginning JL obviously reflected my personal lifestyle, now all the people around me add to the movement. I want to prove that you don’t have to be a small company to do business with passion and creativity.” The ingenious minds at J.Lindeberg include Creative Director Johan Lindeberg, Design Director Magnus Ehrland and Senior Designer Rachel Wilkie and Marcella Lindeberg, muse and Brand Manager for J.Lindeberg Concept.

LINDBERGH is a highly independent and innovative clothes brand. The narrowly defined concept targets the fashion-conscious man who appreciates high-quality craftsmanship and fit combined with advanced design and details. LINDBERGH takes its name from the legendary aviator Charles Lindbergh, the first person to pilot an aircraft across the Atlantic!

Heterophobia ? addressing a controversial mannequin
Does the dominance of gay fashion designers suggest an endemic heterophobic propensity by the fashion illuminati which is manifest in its most insidious form by the pervasive tendency to corrupt the female body image by persisting with anorexic “de-feminised” models as a paradigm of perfection ultimately undermining the male/female synergy? … or perhaps the fashion [...]
