Michael Kors first signature fragrance for women, Michael Kors was launched in September of 2000 and has consistently been in the top three within every door it is offered. Following the success of the women's fragrance, in September of 2001 Kors launched his men's signature fragrance collection.

Michael Kors established his own sportswear label in 1981. In the same year he presented a small collection of separates for buyers at Bergdorf Goodman. These sold immediately. In 1999, he was named Women's wear Designer of the Year by the Council of Fashion Designers of America. His designs are sleek, cool and very, very sexy.
