Rudolf Dassler created puma 1948 in Herzogenaurach. In close co-operation with Spitzenathleten it constantly developed Puma products further by outstanding technological innovations and by material improvements - to the use for each sportsman. Over more than fifty years, Puma became one of the most successful addresses in the sports article industry, with many designing for it such as Jil Sander.
