Max Mara To Re-Open Bond Street Store

Max Mara has swapped exclusive adresses, opening a new London flagship store on Old Bond Street. MaxMara, has acquired the lease from Dunhill International in a seven-figure deal. The fashion giant has moved less than 100 yards from its previous premises, on New Bond Street. The new building that has been the home of Dunhill International for decades.

A major refurbishment saw the 2,744 sq ft basement and 3,678 sq ft ground floor transformed in time for the store opening. The deal involved the acquisition of the remaining three-year lease on the property and the negotiation of a brand new 20-year lease with the landlords, Buckingham Management Services Limited.

Keith Wilson from Wilson McHardy, the property agent which found the premises on behalf of MaxMara, said: "This is a very desirable property in a prime position and there were a number of other companies interested in the building."
